Wet! Wet! Wet!

The rain hasn't stopped at all today - it's just been in degrees of moderate to fairly heavy. The sky has been a constant grey with little variation in colour. Drips dripping off everything and a steady pattering on the conservatory roof (I quite like that!).

The very wet peony does show just how wet it is - there's even a fly sheltering under the petals.

The weather forecast for this evening and tonight is cloudy with a risk of heavy showers through the evening. Rain easing for a time in many places overnight, although western areas may continue to see showers. Further outbreaks of heavy rain possible in the east by the early hours.

It's unlikely the peony will get much drier!
