Typical bank holiday weather
Given the weather today, I made the right call getting out in the garden for the best of it yesterday. Phew!
Yesterday, I had a really lovely evening Skype chat with N and C in their flat in Kenya. It has been ages since we spoke and saw each other and so it was really good to catch up with them. They seem fine, enjoying the social life. Their work is going well and N says he is managing to delegate more now and to manage his projects better. They are getting out and about up country to explore and camp with friends they've made out there a great deal. Oh to be young and adventurous again....
I was wide awake at 3am today so spent a while talking to blippers, which was nice! I managed to drop back off by 4.30am as it was getting light.
I trundled over to Chacombe to see C, S and Teddy today and here he is with his Mum having a nice cuddle and smiles. As it was once more raining without any sign of letting up, we just stayed in and chatted, had lunch and coffee and then I left to meet B in Stony for a coffee and a nice chat.
So it's been a pleasant, gentle day of catching up with the family and I'm now back home to get ready for the working week.
