Duffus Castle
This was the home of the de Moravia family since 1129 although this castle dates only from the 14th century. The tower wall has slipped and lies at an odd angle. The moat was full of Large Red Damselflies, the real reason for my visit. There were also honeybees burrowing and creating a honeycomb. Also got some good shots of Reed Bunting and Sedge Warbler in the reeds. Both were nesting. A good day!
