In the morning

Was surprised to see the pine marten pop out after the heavy rain this morning. The crows were not to happy to see it and they caused quite a commotion. Birds were flying over it's head and he kept looking around and finally disappeared back under the decking.
Some lovely periods of sun but also very heavy rain and a few claps of thunder. The burn is totally full and has formed a pond at the bottom near the gate. It's lovely to hear it gushing down. The crow has been good at keeping the four ugly chicks covered forming an umbrella with it's wings.
Lets hope for a bit more sun tomorrow. My seedlings, poppies, cornflowers and wildflower mix are coming on a treat but have had to shelter them from the rain.
