Drizzly day

As the title suggest, it has been a drizzly day, I spent a lot of hours juggling numbers and translating contracts, also did a very slow 4 mile cycle in preparation for a Triathlon me and Miss K crazily signed up for recently.

Spoke to my Dad today for the first time after a long while. He's in hospital in Germany after a ruptured appendix and following appendectomy; apparently he only just went to hospital in time.. Scary. He'll be fine though and usually working day and night, he has been forced to take a break. Other than that, the conversation left me feeling empty and disappointed and greatful for a loving family and friends here in Orkney.
