In The Occupied Territory

View from the hill

Glorious weather today.
We drove 30 or so miles to Williamson's garden centre up near Aberchirder, or Foggy ( pronounced Foe gee) as it is locally known. We have never been there before, and didn't know it existed, thanks google. It is Scottish Tourist board recommended.
Has a nice lunch, spent a fair bit on alpines and pots, which now reside on our back steps.
This is the view from the hill that the restaurant sits on.
My mum is feeling a bit low just now. She crashed her car on Saturday, she is ok, but a bit shaken up. She also revealed that my youngest brother, the only one that lives in the city not far from her, is planning to move out to Banff, 40 odd miles away.
She popped out to see us for a wee while this evening, so I think that cheered her up a tad.
