Little obsessed

I am a little obsessed with the whole laser eye surgery thing. I am amazed, repulsed, stressed and intrigued by it all.

It feels miraculous! It feels weird! It has been more brutal than I considered despite having all of the facts.

I keep thinking wow...I can see! The truth is I never liked myself in glasses. Now I have to get used to myself without them. I have dark shadows and wrinkles and I am older than when I last wore contacts 24/7.

Also in the latter years when I wore contacts it was for a special occasion so I was dolled up. Make-up, clothing. Not just popping to the shops with my children.

No regrets just a healing process. All seems well so far and hopefully this will continue!
