work and swim, a regular sort of day

So in my music by year series we hit 1978 and I've gone with Elvis Costello's Pump it Up from that year. I went to see Elvis Costello and the Attractions at Glastonbury on the misguided idea that this was a fairwell gig and therefore a moment in history, it was a long dull set punctuated with the odd pop gem. Whilst on the Other Stage at the same time Orbital delivered a set that's widely acknowledged as a festival classic. C'est la vie.
