Division

A terrible photo today, but my trawl through the musical years of my life has thrown up a classic for 1979. Transmission by Joy Division (a favourite youtube clip as well). I first heard this track when a colleague of my Mum's on hearing that I liked the manics decided to educate me in the ways of punk and post-punk. The only other track that I remember from it is Alternative Ulster by SLF, but Transmission has always stuck in my head since those C90 filled days.

I should point out that I'm not claiming these tracks as being the best of each year, I'm trying to find tracks that spark a memory or two along the way. This means you're going to get some right stinkers along the way!
