Tuesday: Start Of The Holiday

For these tourists, it was the beginning of their holiday.  For Mum, it was the end of hers.  Two weeks has shot by but we had a lot of fun.

My colleagues and I were commenting on the increase in Asian tourists in Croatia.  One of my colleagues has just returned from one of the furthest outlying islands, and even there, he saw Japanese tourists.  They were also much in evidence in Split last week.  Personally, I think it is a good thing - not only does the Croatian economy desperately need the cash injection but a more international crowd will mix things up nicely - providing it doesn't drive the prices up.
