Not only policemen!

Another damp day, but many flowers seem able to shrug off the rain and still look beautiful. This is a dwarf clematis in a pot. I've had it two or three years now and it doesn't get any bigger.

Unable to shrug off the rain is a garden we were supposed to visit on a coach outing tomorrow. The owner has cancelled our visit because the garden is waterlogged!

We met our bank manager this morning, changing some accounts. He is younger than our son and says "OK, cool!" at every opportunity, but he was brilliant! Explained everything very clearly and used his computer at such a speed that we had no hope of keeping up. It didn't matter - he knew what he was doing. So, it isn't only policemen that are getting younger, it is bank managers too!
