On the beach

Day 3 in the LPH house came after a long night abed. I woke with the need for copious amounts of Imodium. Oh dear.

Some gentle nudging resulted in a trip to the Solway Firth with John. Normally one of my favourite places, but feeling rather under the weather meant I just wasn't seeing it. To keep things simple I stuck the long lens on the camera and left the rest of the kit in the car at the beginning, and then just the macro later.

I'm not normally one for nature photography, but with the long lens on I was able to get some reasonable bird shots (even if they were only gulls).

A bit of a snooze on the beach before ice cream at Wellington Farm on the way home.
