Failing that useful advice, Strepsils have been soothing sore throats since 1958. They're not perfect but they've helped me out a lot today and they're certainly less final than Hitchcock's solution.

In other news, I'm off to see Blackout tonight; a show about alcoholism - drinking and recovery. As always, my review will be posted tomorrow.
