the Grot

I'm not talking about the weather though it could be described with a similar word!

Some housework and a walk to the shop for bread seemed to take up much of the morning. I also got some photos sorted and edited from our day at Morecambe almost 2 weeks ago and a back blip posted.

Mid afternoon I walked a circular route through Rydal taking the path in front of Rydal Hall. Passed this little building which is called The Grot. It's grade II listed and was built in 1668. Restored within the last 10 years it has a window to view the waterfall through.
