Half term fun!

Another crazy busy day for us! I started early when I force myself out of bed at 6am and went for a 45min run. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it quite a good way to start my day so plan to do this more often.

I then worked for a few hours, we made pizza and fairy cakes. After the kids had gone I had an optician appointment. I definitely have macular degeneration. It's extremely rare in someone my age apparently (usually starts over 60) so I've got to go and be seen at the hospital. Strangely though my eyesight is almost perfect and I don't need glasses!

We went back to patisserie Valerie for afternoon tea again after my appointment. It was yummy! And tomorrow we have to head back into town again as we have the dentist and Charlotte needs new school shoes. And then a very enjoyable half term is over. Kind of looking forward to a return to normality now.
