Sheerness-on-sea
A day out with a friend to visit Sheerness just because I'd not been before and it was a day to practise with photos to document the trip! The largest town on the Isle of Sheppey, a former fort and dockyard, the Port of Sheerness is still one of the United Kingdom's leading car and fresh produce importers. (Per Wikipedia - Sheerness )
After a stroll along the shingle beach we had a quick walk around the old part of the 'blue twin' and then the newer part which was striking for the fact that there are plenty of standalone stores even to the extent of having a green grocers!
This was the central point it seemed and feta of the most colourful part!
Home to edit photos and catch up with a few friends online, early night tonight as exhausted this week!
