The end of the week

Since Wednesday I have been in Nelson attending the New Zealand Area School's Conference. Area School's from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island attended. Our school had 4 people attending, including myself and TeeJay. It was a fabulous opportunity to network with other Area School staff and Board of Trustee members, and to attend some worthwhile workshops and listen to some very interesting speakers, for example, the Minister of Education Hekia Parata, the Opposition leader for Education, Chris Hipkins, and the Secretary for Education, Peter Hughes.

The Conference ended at lunchtime today, when people said their good-byes until next year, when the conference is being held in Wellington.
