Thursday: A Day Of Many Parts

I am backblipping this as yesterday (or should I say today) was just too busy to contemplate blipping.....

I didn't go near the office at all.  The day started with a regional conference on the use of sexual violence in conflict.  The backdrop is that Croatia has just introduced a law aimed at compensating victims of sexual violence from the Homeland War so the government used the opportunity to host a conference on the subject more generally.  It is an area that I have also been doing some work on so I was keen to attend the event.  

That took me up to early afternoon when I darted across town to attend the opening of a new organisation which my office has also had a hand in.  That was followed by a reception to mark the event and it was then a dash to another part of town to attend the conference dinner which was held here.

That took me up to midnight when I was, I am afraid, just too tired to blip.  Dinner was very tasty though!
