Doha Days

This lorry load of mattresses reminded me of the children's fairy tale The Princess and the Pea much loved by Gurababa. when he was a kid. " Turn the page" was the audio prompt on the well worn audio cassette accompanying the book!

We have been here in support of the school in Switzerland with which I am connected. They have been taking part in an excellent sports competition that has brought international schools together here from around the globe.

It is marginally cooler here than Doha but feels more humid. I have not been here for two years and the city seems to have matured and become even more cosmopolitan since then.
