They grow quickly

Our blackbirds nest is now full. We think there are 4 chicks and they get bigger every day. Mum and Dad are excellent parents. They continuously bring food and protect them with a fusillade of high pitched squawks and, if necessary dive bombing the pesky cats. God the latter are a pain. A half brick is always handy.
