Thames Barge - the Greta

In Whitstable harbour is one of the few Thames sailing barges left. They used to carry all sorts of goods into and out of London. Their shallow draught being an advantage. The Greta took part in the Dunkirk evacuation. Today it is used for tourist cruises. A most elegant craft even in harbour at low tide.
