In a hurry
With places to go, flies to catch, youngsters to feed Pied Wagtails never seem to stop, they are always on the go.
After 4 days of BBC Springwatch programmes its been a question of getting back out looking for the local wildlife today. Well I did look but not much luck with the exception of this fellow most of the more interesting birds seem to singing loudly from dense shrubbery. A fleeting view of what was probably a Bank Vole was followed by a very dark coloured Buzzard overhead probably better they don't meet as there would be only one winner.
Nice to see about 10 Swifts overhead near the end of the day - they had plenty of flies to catch this evening.
Its been a day when I have been forgetting things and using the wrong words so perhaps I'm in need of sleep or maybe it was insufficient coffee :-)
