A Basket Full of Good Luck

Many folk believe elephants are a symbol of good luck. And a lot of people collect them. We have a number of elephants in our home, all of manageable sizes. Some I bought in Thailand years ago when our daughter lived there for a while.
I found this collection of elephants in a little basket in a delightful shop in downtown Bangkok. It is a shop of beautifully crafted items made of cottons, felts and other fabrics. Most of the goods are hand-made.
The tiny patchwork covers on the backs of each of these tiny elephants are delightful as are the patchwork decorations on the sides of the little basket. It is quite a treasure and with a family of six elephants in the basket I take it to mean six times good luck.
