The Lake

Today is the first official day of winter. There was a cold frosty start to the day. Then when the sun came out from behind some cloud in the east it warmed up a little. The Taylor Dam was bathed in low winter light. The only ripples on the water of the lake were those caused by black swans and ducks swimming nearby. It is a peaceful serene spot to visit on this sort of day.
