Bud

"Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand." Exodus 25:33

Today's picture is a flower bud in the cafe / bookshop area at church that I saw after our worship practice. I liked the look of the bud and thought this was bound to inspire a Bible verse. I have struggled a little bit for some reason to find a Bible verse today to go with this picture. But have settled on Exodus 25:33, this chapter is about decorating the Ark of the Covenant and the room in which it sits. The Ark was where God lived in the Old Testament times, and this was a powerful place and so only certain people could enter into this place. But God had a desire to be near His people, and so asked them to build this place.
