Inis Oirr 1

Another ferry journey this morning to Inis Oirr, the smallest of the Aran Islands. The day was glorious and the blues incredible! The Happy Hooker was on time and we set sail almost immediately passing a basking shark -  huge! As we arrived in Inis Oirr it could have been mistaken for a Greek Island or the Caribbean - the blues were incredible and the sand so white. A woman was swimming with the local dolphin - only she is allowed to swim with him apparently as he can be quite ferocious. Our little cottage was decked out in aquamarines and cobalts - a seasidey feel to this island altogether.
