A big day today. We walked miles! The island is only three miles long but we must have walked every inch! Down yet more tiny fields onto the limstone pavements by the sea to look at the wreck of the Plassey - it reminded me of a stranded shark. This is the one used in the title credits of Father Ted. On to the the lighthouse, very smart in black white and red, then up to the signal tower and old castle. Lunch of cider and chips in the local pub, then a long trek to find St Enda's well. Totally wrecked by the end of this day, nose peeling, feet aching, an excellent meal and we were in bed by 9.30!
