Koinobori

Our friend Chizuko, who lodged with my parents when I was at university, sent Alexander this lovely present from Japan.

We always get lovely presents from Chizuko. We have reciprocated, mainly with Christmas pudding and instant custard powder.

An absolutely glorious day today. Alexander has been through several outfits, including his birthday suit. I did a lot of gardening, had a massage, did more gardening and then we had pizza in the garden too....
