Lonesome

This is Lonesome.

We had finished the gardening work this evening and were having a final walk around.

We then found this hatchling. There then followed the usual conversation about what would be the best thing to do in the circumstances.

I think the advice is not to do anything and let mother sort it out. So that is what we did and seconds later Lonesome here got up and legged it.

I am not sure of the type of bird but certainly a small brown job.
