Snow in May

Reaching the top of Mt Arrowsmith on Vancouver Island is only half the battle, especially in steep melting snow. The snow eventually gave way to a rocky trail that took an even greater toll on my joints, muscles and ligaments. Needless to say, the views from the top on this hot spring day were spectacular, and we had them all to ourselves. Perfect napping conditions.

This morning I'm in recovery mode, which includes doing laundry.
