Nerissa and the astrolab

Nerissa has watched over the harbour since 2001. A few year's ago, the eight-foot bronze statue, created by sculptor Thomas McPhee, got a fresh coat of golden paint. She's glorious under the sunshine.

Nerissa lives in a small park where folks go to chill out, smoke and eat lunch. She prefers the strong silent type.
