Worshipping at the temple of retail therapy

Well, we might have done - if we could have got into the car park. We failed to find anywhere to park at Livingston, so headed for the Gyle. The car park there had cars littering the edges of the roadway so we decided to give up the effort to 'descruff' my husband and head for the cinema. Chose a cinema complex which wasn't associated with any retail outlets. Got about 1 hour into the movie and the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the cinema. It was a faulty alarm but we thought we were never going to find out 'whodunnit' in the latest Sherlock Holmes movie. Robert Downey Jnr was fab in it!
