Seafood Platter
Along the coastline here are numerous small shacks selling oysters and other seafood. Mixed in with the shacks are restaurants selling a broader selection, but all essentially shellfish. This dish was called the 'Prestige' as it had half a crab, half a dozen oysters, a few langoustines, grey shrimps, prawns, whelks (bulots), all served with lashings of rose wine, bread, mayonnaise, shallot vinegar and sunshine. What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Got home and had a doze. Outstanding.
