Weekend in the city
Weekend with family in London to celebrate Tim's 25th birthday. We eventually arrived after a horrendous journey - usual two hours took four and a half! Most certainly worth the drive though! We crossed the Millenium Bridge to St. Paul's Cathedral. When this footbridge was first opened in 2000 it swayed alarmingly. This generated much public interest and the bridge became known as London's "wobbly bridge". In the 2009 movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" this footbridge was used to represent the Brockdale Bridge that collapses following a dramatic attack by the Death Eaters (all created with special effects I hasten to add!)
