Casting Clouts

Ne'er cast a clout till May be out, so today I spent a happy hour or two moving thick dark woolly clothes to the back of the wardrobe, to make way for all things light, bright and skimpy. It will no doubt all get changed back tomorrow, with rain forecast and temperatures set to drop.

Today was also the last day of the degree show at Edinburgh College of Art. I’ve blipped this piece by Kirsty Roxburgh. I didn’t get it at all the first time I saw it, but over the week it has grown on me. Though I’m not sure I’d feel the same way if I was her mum. And it’s better than a blip of me in a skimpy outfit, trust me.
