Cape Reinga

Having been to the most southern, eastern and western points of New Zealand, I was disappointed to learn that Cape Reinga is NOT the most northern point!! That location is technically a few kms further north and east at Surville Cliffs on North Cape.
Never mind, it has been a great day, exploring the far north and experiencing boogey boarding on the dunes, driving the Te Paki stream and 90 mile beach (which is actually only 64 miles - another disillusion!).
