Naughty !
A bit naughty today as I took this picture yesterday afternoon.
This WWII Douglas Dakota from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flew right over our house & I managed to get quite a number of clear shots of it despite the fact that it was flying away as I grabbed the camera. It was here for RAF celebrations taking place in the town. It was warm yesterday & if you look at it in Large you can see that the side door is open which is probably the 1930 / 40s method of Air Conditioning.
Been to the JR II hospital today to have nerve tests on my feet, which are sometimes quite numb. The conclusion is that the problem can not be resolved by foot surgery, & that it is likely to have occurred as a result of the cyst I had removed from my spine a couple of years ago. At least I now know that it is unlikely to get any worse.
We called at the Wheatley MSA for a coffee & a look on the way back, but didn't stay long as I have a nasty bleed in my right hand / forearm that needs urgent treatment. That's now done & C has just gone to see D, then she is going to N&Rs to do a cutting in 2nd coat of emulsion in Bed 1. Electricians still not finished & upstairs carpets are being fitted on Friday.
Sunny Warm start but has since clouded over.
