Beans Beans....
The rhyme is true, beans are good for your heart, and your bowel. They're also a fantastic source of so many other wonderful healthy things... Protein, fibre, folate, magnesium, iron, potassium, vitamin c, zinc, niacin, b6 and calcium. So this dish (which combines 4 different types of beans with some equally amazing vegetables such as butternut squash that has plenty of betacarotene which the body converts to vitamin A) is a fabulously healthy choice giving the whole body a wonderful boost. Topped off with some sesame sprinkled broccoli and couscous then followed by a totally yummy pudding of pear and raspberry crumble made with an oat topping.
