Roses

The formation of these roses look different although they are from the same bush. Many of our roses are now blooming since we have been away, this usually happens, hotter here than on the continent the one week we choose to be away!

Another calf born with the mother prolapsing. It took an hour with the vet to slide the womb back inside. We had one which took nearly three hours sitting in the field behind the house with buckets of soapy water! Lucky it was a lovely summer's evening. The bad news is that when the calf is weaned at six months the mother will have to go as it can be difficult for her to calve again. We have learned the hard way and it spares the cow any more discomfort and pain.
