Down by the river

Great morning walk to the Truckee River with 2 friends. Maggie, our "waterdog" has not been too comfortable around water so far, never goes in deeper than up to her elbows. Now the days are getting so warm she enjoys playing in the water just calmly by her self. No sticks or balls have to been thrown. Her latest "game" is that she searches for sticks under water and loosens them with her paws first and in the end brings in her snout, eyes firmly closed and comes up with her find, mostly very proud.

It was such a lovely hour. We sat on a root in the shade and talked while Maggie "did her thing"...
