A Touch of Gold

There was a veil of low cloud over Blenheim and the surrounding countryside this morning.
The cloud kept the frost away but put a dampener on landscape photography…that is until I was out with the dogs. We were walking the Taylor River tracks when the cloud started to lift a little. This allowed the wintery sun to sun to shine through and touch the tops of the hills on Tempello Station with golden light.
