Praying Over Property...

Today Was my turn to prayer walk around Sa Penya - this is taken from the City walls...the house at the bottom left is a bit of a mystery...it stands out as being well above average in terms of how well looked after it is, how big, and how snazzy...plus it's also got barbed wire around it....very odd in a close knit community. Question is, who is being kept out, or in? Then down by the seafront you can see the rooftops are nicer, those are the official gay quarter streets - in much better nick than the Romani area. The complaint from the Roma is that the officials give them no help in cleaning the area up, just use the lack of cleanliness against them...we're wondering if there might be a way we and the 24-7 guys could help do a clear up...we'll wait and see if God gives us a way in. The government are trying to evict the Roma, so they're using all tactics possible. AND Danny saw some posh looking bloke being shown round the barbed wire house, a bit concerning that the government might be stepping things up a bit. They want to re house the Roma in apartments over the island, completely breaking up their community and way of life...
Anyway, we'll keep praying...
Taking Asha back to the play place this afternoon - she loved it yesterday! It's for local kids, so it was all Spanish... Asha did well though and ended up having a lovely time with 2 other little kids. We're hoping to leave her on her own there today...yesterday we sat in a corner and she just kept glancing over when she felt she needed us...think she'll be up to staying on her own today - it's like a kids paradise, so many wonderful toys and things to do!
