Dropping in for cocktails

There were lots of bees on the perennial geraniums late this afternoon, flitting from one flower to the next without landing for too long.

I was reminded of a little cocktail party with the guests 'air kissing' politely as they moved languidly through the throng.

These geraniums are a really lovely colour. I noticed that the foxgloves are starting to flower now too. I'll have to have a little cocktail party of my own to enjoy the garden! If the sun ever stays out more than 30 minutes at a time......

Off to Pilates now.
