Another box!!

I thought it a good time to update you on an earlier box (writing slope) belonging to P. It was blipped in December 2013 as I started to strip off the old polish and leather.

Last night after stripping the polish off the concertina case, I coated the brass work on this box and left it to dry. I went in to the restoration workshop this morning to give it 3 coated of stain before bringing it home. I have put a set of pictures in FlickR to show progress.

I spent this afternoon at my patchwork class, working on the group work quilt.
