Afternoon cakes

After the worst morning ever of forgetting major things & feeling a bit of an epic failure, I decided to meet up with K's mum C., at Fort Kinnaird for some retail therapy and a coffee (when I say 'a coffee' I always mean tea as I don't drink coffee, plus it doesn't sound right when you replace 'coffee' for 'tea' in the sentence - well for me anyway!).

We ended up being lured by the window display at Patisserie Valarie. This is a photo of my chocolate mousse which was nice but very filling - probably only should have only had half but I needed cheering up so that was my excuse!

I came home with new paint samples to try out & decide between now that I've picked the wallpaper, waiting on them drying before I show K., what his next DIY project is ;)
