Rainbow

I didn't manage to take any pictures yesterday and it didn't look like I was going to take any today, until I went to make a cup of tea before the football started and noticed this rainbow out of the kitchen window. It took me a few seconds to get the camera and change lenses, but it stayed and I got several shots at a range of focal lengths. This one probably shows it at its most intense.

There is a better weather forecast for tomorrow, so I will head down to the river and see if I can improve on the shots I took on Monday of the false oil beetles in flight.
