The Colour Purple

I was out this afternoon and ended up walking by a small secluded lochan. The rain was teaming down but I was sheltered by a canopy of trees over the path.

There was a beautiful rich striking purple flower Rhododendron on the small island out in the lochan and having saturated the purples I liked the effect especially with the rain drops on the water.

I walked despite being tired, my friend too fatigued which I hate to hear hopefully tomorrow will be a better day and in the interim I hope you enjoy the shot today...
