The Dougal Canard Trio, Gustav's at The Tannery

It's been a lovely evening as Mrs H and myself caught up with Daring2Go ahead of her big trip this weekend.

We met at Gustav's at the Tannery in Woolston, a very sophisticated place for a couple of glasses of vin rouge and some tapas-y nibble stuff. Needless to say, we had a good old natter, getting our cameras out and talking about all sorts.

Before we went outside to shoot some shots down by the canal (see Daring2Go's neat blip here) we had the smooth jazz sounds of the Dougal Canard Trio playing just behind our table. They're a pretty tight unit, and their mix of numbers was very nice indeed. I couldn't help but dig the Nikon out of the bag to grab this shot of them in full swing, as it were.

Thanks to all who commented and rated yesterday's Night Garden shot, it ended up in the spotlight thanks to the praise. Cheers! I'll keep peppering you all with more star shots as the heavens allow...
