The End!

Today concluded two weeks of fund raising for World Cancer Research. It's been hectic and I think the whole team is shattered BUT WE REACHED OUR TARGET!!! So thrilled. Our boss Farzan (in the Go Bananas tshirt) even confirmed it by emailing us with the number of days we have left to take before the year ends!

Today started with me getting to work for 8am (as requested) armed with camera. Everyone who came to work wearing yellow paid Dh 5 (£1) and those who didn't wear yellow paid Dh 10. The people who wore yellow had their picture taken and this was posted to Facebook so the two people with the most Likes won something. This picture has the winners. Riza with 90 Likes won the World Cup Soccer Ball and Del (with the yellow boa) won Dh 50 which she contributed back to the cause. We also sold coffee and banana splits through the day. The team raised £1,000 with much support and help of everyone else on the floor.

Got picked up by G and we headed to City Centre as I wanted to see the Fuji X20. Someone is interested in buying my X10. I actually ended up buying it so hope the X10 does sell. Finally home around 7:30 and I am just looking forward to a couple of lie-ins! Hope your day has been as good! :)

PS. I should mention that the entire company (worldwide around 6,000 employees) has raised around £55,000 this year.
