Return of the long-tailed tits

We had the return of another welcome visitor to the garden this morning - the long-tailed tit. Well, actually it was several long-tailed tits as they are a species which likes to move around in small flocks ranging from a handful to 30+.

They are a delightful bird to watch, but can be tricky to follow as they dart from branch to branch looking for insects and food. They are a bit like buses; you do not see one for a while and then 20 come along all at once!

Luckily this one stopped still for a few moments & I managed to get a blip.
